Riefenstahl was a glamorous woman. In the 1920s she made films in which, as a sort of Wagnerian heroine,
she performs amazing feats of rock climbing, mountaineering and trekking across Greenland!
Many of these exploits are photographed in this book, which contains 155 images in gravure printing quality.
