Very rare photographic record about horses and horse bloodlines published by the German Armed Forces in occupied France, Paris during the Second World War.

Illustrated with 80 colour photographs, including those of the Wehrmacht Veterinary Corps and concluding with the German flag, taken in the 3rd and 4th years of the war.

It's the only historical WW2 book I know of that shows an army horse hospital in colour.

In good/fair exterior and near fine interior condition
The fragile backstrip damaged with the outer rear hinge exposed. Spine with discoloration, name on front free endpaper, otherwise ok.
