WWI German Cigarette Card Album, The World War 1914-1918 Poland France WW1 Somme

A very rare WWI album of 200 mounted advertising cards with printed captions produced by the Hermann Fricke sausage and meat company in Halberstadt. Cards are arranged by year from 1914 and 1918 and depict scenes relating to World War I. Each year preceded by a 4 page summary of the events of that year of the war.

1914 - Mobilization, Advance in the West, Luttich, near Paris, Marne, Tannenberg, Poland, Flanders
1915 - Winter Battle of the Masurian Lakes, Champagne, La Bassee, Ypern, Vosges, Carpathians Battle, Poland, Galicia, Champagne Argonnen Fights
1916 - Trench Warfare in East and West, Verdun, The Major Russian Summer Offensive, Battle of the Somme
1917 - Static Warfare, The Hindenburg Line, The Second Battle of Arras and Aisne (aka Nivelle Offensive), Detachment and Calm, Third Battle of Ypres
1918 - German Preparations for the attack, Second Battle of the Somme, Battle of the Lys (Flanders, Kemmel), capturing the Chemin des Dames, Defense and Retreat

In very good exterior and very good interior condition
Corners slightly bumped, a few (finger) stains here and there, else ok and clean album with minor traces of use and age.
