Picturesque Franconia
A very nice photographic record of Franconia in Bavaria, Germany.
Most of the photos were taken in the 1930's and 1940's, very few in the 1950's. The book is depicting churches, village life, the Main River, castles, half-timbered houses, famous buildings and sculptures, medieval towns, old town gates and bridges, baroque buildings, vineyards, picturesque and romantic corners etc. etc.

Boards rubbed, occasionally faint foxing, mild basement odor, gift inscription on front free endaperp, otherwise ok.
