Rare extra large edition (Excerpt of the Grosse Ausgabe) street map of Germany's Reichshauptstadt Berlin of 1944 showing the city in the penultimate year of the war. That's the last published map prior defeat of Nazi Germany.
What makes this large map interesting is that it covers a wider area of the outer suburbs which are cut off on many of the other Pharus Berlin maps.
Shown are the quarters: Spandau, Charlottenburg, Wilmersdorf, Zehlendorf, Reinickendorf, Wedding, Tiergarten, Schoneberg, Steglitz, Pankow, Prenzlauer Berg, Mitte, Kreuzberg, Tempelhof, Weißensee, Lichtenberg, Horst Wessel, Treptow, Neukölln.
