Our German Childrens
The book I offer here covers the subject of child photography in Germany as no other book does, featuring
105 portraits taken throughout Germany and accompanied by a complimentary text by Paul Seelhoff.
The portraits are in high quality (and expensive!) photo gravure printing technology.
This publication documented the German girls and boys of pre-war Germany.
It is a transcendent piece, as all images of children can be, but by depicting them in native dress,
still deeply rooted in the sociology of the moment.
