WWI German Cigarette Card Album Reunion The World War 1914-1918 Tanks

A very rare WWI album of 200 mounted cigarette cards with printed captions. Photos were taken from the Bavarian War Archive in Munich and the National Archive. The Cards are arranged in 20 chapters with accompanying text pages.

The 20 chapters are: Infantery, Supplementary Weapons for the Infantery, Artillery, Artillery and their Impact, Cavallery, Mortars and tanks, Planes, Aeronauts, Anti Aircraft, Military Intelligence, Trenches, Shelters, Railroad Troops (with Feldbahn), Medical Corps Organisation, Battle Terrain, Prisoners. Pictures from The National Archive I, Pictures from the National Archive II, Pictures from the Book "Steel Years".

Complete with 200 cigarette cards mounted on album pages.

In fine exterior and fine interior condition
With a handmade (?) Dust Jacket, which protected the album very well for the past decades. Pages age toned, otherwise ok with very minor signs of use and age.

All pages are complete and tight in the binding.
