Horse and Horsemen at the Enemy
The Horse in the Greater German Fight for Liberty

Very rare photographic record about the horse in the war. Starting with an introduction about the history of the horse in military activities back to ancient times. Then followed by large photo part, depicting the WWII battles in Poland, France, Belgium etc. Many wonderful closeup shots of the horses and their harness and uniforms of soldiers.
This is the only period wartime book I am aware of, which is dedicated to horses in the Wehrmacht.
