Rare oversize german portfolio with stunning full-color, full-page plates of examples of traditional dress from German-speaking areas of the Sudetenland.

Depicted are Germans, mainly farmers, countrywomen,  brides and lads from Wischau, Lissowitz, Swonowitz, Schollschitz, Obergerspitz, Brunn, Kuhlandchen, Tesstal, Mahren, Iglau, Schlappenz, Egerland, Karlsbad, Chotieschau, Schonhengst, Braunauer Landchen.

The traditional dress is also known as National Costume or Folk Costume or in German: Tracht / Trachten
 
Each plate is exquisitely detailed, showing a man, woman, or child in traditional dress. Each plate is titled and signed (reproduction signature) and each explained in detail in the intro booklet.
