Cabin Boy Werner Franz

From the view of the cabin boy, who survived the explosion** of the Hindenburg 1937,
Medem describes the Zeppelin airship LZ129 and the everyday life of the service.

[** On May 6, 1937, at 18:25 local time, the German zeppelin LZ 129 Hindenburg caught fire
and was utterly destroyed in less than one minute while approaching a mooring mast at Lakehurst Naval Air Station
in New Jersey. Of the 97 people on board, 13 passengers and 22 crew-members were killed.
One member of the ground crew also died, bringing the death toll to 36.]

This book became exceedingly rare and is sold out worldwide in antiquarian bookstores
since the broadcast of German RTL movie "Hindenburg" in February 2011,
where the story of cabin boy Werner Franz was part of the movie.
