Original Garbaty Series 1 Album with the complete set of 300 beautiful embossed kurmark cigarette cards of Hollywood and German Film/Movie Stars and Athletes.

Cards have beautiful color portraits and embossed, Art-Deco borders with rounded corners.

Cards have been originally protected with a thin sheet of transparent vellum paper (similar to parchment paper) between the pages. These cards were considered the most beautiful "high-tech" cards of the 1930s due to their great color, focus, embossing, border designs, and varnish finish.

The German population was infatuated with Hollywood thus the album is loaded with famous 1930s American actresses: Marlene Dietrich, Greta Garbo, Madeleine Carroll, Katherine Hepburn, Mae West, Helen Hayes, Ginger Rogers, Clara Bow, Carol Lombard, Jean Harlow, etc, etc, etc. Album also recognizes many famous women in sports and other professions: tennis great Helen Wills Moody, Olympian swimming sensation Helen Madison, or famous German actress Leni Riefenstahl or Gerda Maurus, etc, etc, etc.
