of the most beautiful and colourful flags from the time between 1100 and the outbreak of the world war.
Special consideration was given to the period 1740/86, the reign of Frederick the Great.

i.e. either a type of flag or an inflexible but mobile image, which is used (and often honoured) as a formal,
