Mountain Infantry on Crete
The extremely rare book describes the battle of the Gams Division in 1941, which was under the command of the commanding general of the parachute and airborne troops, for Crete, the fight against an implacable nature and an opponent far superior in men and material and only touches on the fight of the paratroopers insofar as it is important for understanding the division's battles. Chania, Galatos, Sudabucht, Kastelli, Maleme, Athen, Lutro, etc. etc.
