Handbook of the Fleet / Navy 1939

Gilt on blue cloth, ship lists of all the major powers.

Very rare pre-WWII German handbook of the Fleet with photographs of all known naval shipping worldwide. It also gives other essential data like displacement - tonnage, speed in knots, armaments, armour and depth of keel for any identified target - without which a torpedo firing solution could not be calculated.

An important book used on all German ships and Submarine U-Boats for recognition purpose. Depicted are Destroyer, Cruiser, Battleships, U-Boat, Minesweeper, aircraft carrier, oil tanker and all the other.

This pre-war volume has been published in a very limited number of only 12,000 copies,
thus it's much rarer than the wartime volumes.
