Stunning photo book of spanish city Barcelona with 200+ full page photogravure plates. Depicting architecture, every day life, street scenes, people, old cars etc.

The photos were taken around 1926 / 1927.

The book is divided in to several chapters; Old Town, Rambla, Breakthroughs, Plaza Cataluna, Paseo Gracia, marina, Industry, suburb, cemetery, Catalan architecture style and pleasure (incl. bullfighting, carnival, football etc.)

Photographs titled in English, German, French and Spanish.

From the series "Gesicht der Städte", a series of early photobooks portraying famous cities of Europe.
