Lavishly illustrated travel/picture book by Martin Hürlimann of his 4th journey to Asia in 1959.

The renowned photographer Martin Hurlimann has published several 'Orbis Terrarum' books in the 1920's and 1930's, including one about Asia, now with his new journey after more than 30 years later he is depicting impressions of political and social developments in the East-Asian countries since his first journeys in the 1920's.
